    What’s new?

    In this deployment of maintenance issues you might need to do a force refresh of your browser’s cached items. We highly recommend this to everyone and especially if you experience any system delays. 

    You can do this by pressing ctrl + F5 ( Windows) or Command + R ( macOs) or by accessing and clearing your browser’s history and cache.



    New feature
     

    • Option to clone a Role – this allows you to copy all permissions from an existing Role to a new one (Settings/List of Roles)


    Upgrades
     

    •  ‘Are you sure’ check added on deleting items from Files section
       
    • Role hierarchy – if you have multiple roles and you log in into Resident for the first time (or on a new browser) you will always log in with the highest one e.g. if you have both Leaseholder and Director Roles, your default access Role will be at Director level

    • Downloading End of Year Pack on Estates – fixed
       
    • Rejected Suppliers Invoices are now excluded from Financial Reports
       
    • You now have the ability to change existing Role type
       
    • Downloading Unit Statements in bulk in Estate – It now downloads all Statements with items raised on both Estate and Block level

    • You can no longer create or upload future dated bank transactions

    • Mail Merge – these can now be given unique names

    • Mail Merge – once created these can be downloaded as a single pdf (option called MergePdf)

    •  Arrears Process – option to automatically email can now be disabled for each Step

    • Messaging – problems with sending Messages to all Leaseholders from My Work/Messaging have been corrected for Contact Groups

    • Files – the upload problem for Files larger than 5 MB has been corrected

    • Taking and saving photos on Checklists – (mobile devices only) is working again

    Upgrades

    • Reference check (Custom IDs) – 1st change –  Resident now only checks for duplicate numbers once within the next field. This way you can take your time typing references

    • Reference check – 2nd change – if duplicates are discovered then the number of occurrences is highlighted in red

    • Tasks – New pop up added (‘Are you sure you want to close this task?’) if you are trying to complete a task from the list of tasks

    • Cover Letter – We have removed any extra spacing between paragraphs and the ‘indent’ at the beginning of new paragraphs

    • Supplier Credit deletion – you can now only delete Credits which are not allocated to a particular invoice

    • Supplier’s Invoice – creating after adding first item. You can add multiple items

    • Bulk Credit – you can now access Leaseholder Statements from Bulk Credits using the ‘View’ icon

    • Messages in Arrears process -The problem with accessing more than one sent message has been resolved

    • Logo on Leasehold dashboard – Now this will not overlap with a black background on mobile devices

    Upgrades:

    • S20 notice of intent – text field for adding consultation comments
    • Forecast Analysis report – showing you predicted outcome based on expenditure
    • Income Vs Expenditures report – new report showing income received against expenditure
    • New Ticketing widget – want to take a quick screenshot? Use the single icon for both the Knowledge Base and Tickets
    • Block name has been added to the test of the reminder

    Fixes:

    • Deleted Suppliers are no longer showing in the drop down list (supplier’s invoice and works order)
    • Mail merge extract – column ‘Share number’ shows the number of all shares owned by Leaseholders
    • Supplier – you can now disable Suppliers at Block level (Supplier/Properties)
    • The same Freeholder can be used across multiple Clients – Simply choose the respective Client from within the Freeholder details page (from Client tab)
    • Mail Merge Template – the problem with updating margins is now resolved
    • Message codes – the code for the Property Manager is working again from within messages
    • A column within the Works Orders list has been added – it is within the “Instructed” tab and is called ‘Title’

    Upgrades:

    • Creditors report – an end date can now be selected. A Header with the Block Name and the end date has been added
    • Works Orders Extract – added at both Block and Global level

    Fixes:

    • The “Download All” Statement now pulls any former Leaseholder Statements (provided they owned the Unit at some point in the selected period
    • The problem with multiple copies of an email sent to the same Leaseholder has now been resolved

    Upgrades

    • Changes to Debtors Report – this now shows who has Direct Debits set up, at what stage they are at in the Arrears Process, and a pro rata balance. This applies to both Global and Block Debtors Reports

    • Reconciliation – when assigning an Invoice or creating a Credit/Refund you can now distinguish between any current and former Owners. They are called ‘Owner’ and ‘Previous Owner’ accordingly


    • Adding a Supplier’s Invoice – the button ‘Money on Account’ is now visible on the Supplier Invoice creation screen and shows money on account after selecting whichever bank account  

    • Budget Vs Expenditure Report – Header can now be added to the excel version

    • Problem with RTM Directors not seeing their dashboard correctly – resolved


    • Debtors Report ‘from date’ problem – this Report now allows you to check debt for the specific period


    • Budget Vs Expenditure report – this Report now includes payments and the date within the Financial Period of whichever Budget


    • The running Balance on Transactions pages has been restored

    Upgrades

    • New Code to pull ‘Care of’ line from the address for Mail Merge and Documents

    • Leaseholder/Director dashboard – when you disable permission to whichever section, the matching tile disappears from the Dashboard

    • An Individual Bank Transaction log is now there for Global Accounts 

    • List of Bank Accounts – the Reconciliation button will now always take you to the Reconciliation page – even if it is empty 

    • New Layout for your Works orders list –  New columns: Block, Created By, Instructed By, Supplier Instructed, Finished Date, Total of invoices Paid. Please keep in mind some columns are tab specific

    • Works Orders – they now have recently budgeted Categories under the Category dropdown menu

    • Company number code on Mail Merge now pulls the correct details

    • Arrears page – sorting by the amount in the Settled tab – now functions correctly

    • BACS extract – sorting on the list of exports is working correctly

    • Global Dashboard – the Total now matches the sum of all Unreconciled Transactions on individual Accounts

    • Freeholder Statement – we have removed the top category filter (this statement only shows Ground Rent).

    • Global Bank Reconciliation – you can now search for a Leaseholder across your portfolio without having to select the Client first.

    • Client Statement Report – Clients and Bank Accounts have been moved to the top, The Date Generated has been added to the file, along with the file name in a new column – Invoice Description.

    • Search Menu/Contacts – you can now search using a Unit ID or phone number.

    • Search Menu/Suppliers – you can now search using a phone number, Email or Address.

    Resolved:

    • Credit Balances in the Arrears section is now showing correctly (with a minus sign).
       
    • Client Statement balance – previously there were missing items if they appeared identically.
       
    • Tasks are now showing correctly in My Work/Tasks/Delegated Tasks
       
    • Sorting by date within the list of invoices is working correctly once more
       
    • Dates on mail merge lists are now correct – old mail mergers cannot be corrected

    Upgrades:

    • Trail Balance – we have published the revised version. It is now available in Block/Reporting
    • Transactions page loading time – improved. After this change we have temporarily removed the ‘Balance’ column as it requires further work. It will be restored once it has been optimized.
    • Transaction page remembering ‘Items on page’ selection – Transactions page is now remembering how many items were selected per page (it is block specific)

    Bugs:

    • Deleting category – You can now delete the sub categories
    • IMail merge – Correction to the case when leaseholder owns multiple properties
    • Filter By Date in My Work/Tasks – now pulling correct tasks from the selected date range

    • Unit types on the Block dashboard – Now showing all unit types
    • Items on supplier’s invoice – amount and VAT are now locked if the invoice has been paid.
    • Improving responsiveness of contact lists (suppliers, contacts, directors) and bank reconciliation.
    • New Code for Budget vs Expenditure Report – you can now pull the name of your block for inclusion in pdf <# #>
    • Logs added to pop ups – A new log icon has been added to pop ups such as ‘Payment on Account’ or ‘Credit Note’. You can now track changes to the individual elements.

    Bugs:

    • Mail Merge list – after creating a mail merge the ‘All sent’ button isn’t default ticked
    • Invoice Description – The description on the leaseholder’s statement can now be changed if part of an Invoice Group
    • Leaseholder ID – not saving. Now corrected.
    • Categories in Utilities and Insurance sections were not disabling correctly. Now corrected.
    • Reporting – Invoice items with the same description were only showing one invoice on the Nominal Detail report. Now showing multiple if applicable.
    • Reporting – Debtors report was pulling Freeholder balance. Now removed.
    • Reporting – Cashbook when online reconciling was not pulling ledger items added if the account was previously reconciled manually. Now corrected.
    • Recurrence button on the supplier invoices is visible again and saving changes for both recurrence options.

    • Leaseholder, Supplier and Freeholder statement – They now have new look, with the most recent entries on top and pagination for faster loading.
       
    • Opening Balance Import – New column added to the template for ‘Custom Date’ so the Opening Balance date can be selected as opposed to defaulting to the Import Date.

    Bug Fixes

    • Estate Nominal Report – pulling details of all payments on estate.
       
    • Debtors report – on the block which belongs to an estate it is showing only properties from that block.
       
    • Problem with creating tasks on MS Edge and IE now resolved.
       
    • Expenditure report not pulling invoices from the last day of period – corrected.
       
    • Checklist – changing the template type is now possible, ideally used if the incorrect template type has been chosen after creating a checklist.
